The pay range per hour is $21.75 - $37.00.Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and in some instances may include education, work experience, and certifications. The General Merchandise and Food Sales team leads inbound, outbound, replenishment, inventory accuracy, presentation, pricing and promotional signing processes for all General Merchandise (GM) areas of the store. This team leads Food & Beverage and Food Service, providing a fresh and food safe experience. Experts enable efficient delivery to our guests by owning pick, pack and ship fulfillment work.As a General Merchandise Team Leader, no two days are ever the same, but a typical day most likely will include the following responsibilities:Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience.Execute daily/weekly workload to deliver on department and store sales goals and guest engagement.Help lead the understanding of how operational procedures impact shortage, profitability, in store replenishment and inventory accuracy.Help empower the team to create a consistent experience for our guests.Help with execution of processes in inbound, outbound, replenishment, inventory accuracy, presentation, pricing and promotional signing processes.Help with efficient delivery to our guests by leading pick, pack and ship fulfillment work (if applicable).Responsible for working with Closing teams to identify key priorities and ensure the store is guest ready.Help create a scheduling plan approved by your ETL based off of monthly and weekly business workload and guest traffic.Evaluate candidates for open positions and develop a guest-centric team.Help establish clear goals and expectations and hold team members accountable.Work a schedule that aligns to guest and business needs.Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development.Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance.Lead and demonstrate a culture of executing all best practices.Address store needs (emergency, regulatory visits, etc.).Support guest services such as back-up cashier and digital fulfillment processes.WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORWe might be a great match if:Working in a fun and energetic environment makes you excited.Providing service to our guests that makes them say "I LOVE TARGET!" excites you.Leading teams who are stocking, setting and selling Target products sounds like your thing.You aren’t looking for a Monday - Friday job where you are at a computer all day.The good news is that we have some amazing training that will help teach you everything you need to know to be a General Merchandise Team Leader.
