Transactional Associate Attorney

A law firm in Louisville, KY is seeking a skilled and motivated Transactional Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in Transactional, Corporate, or Real Estate law, with a strong background in drafting, negotiating, and providing legal counsel on various corporate matters. This role offers an opportunity to work on a diverse range of legal issues and contribute to the firm’s success.Duties and Responsibilities:Negotiate, draft, review, and revise various contracts and agreements.Negotiate, draft, review, and revise motions and settlements.Provide legal advice and guidance on business transactions, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance.Complete due diligence related to real estate transactions, including closings.Assess risk and advise on risk mitigation strategies.Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and policies.Research current and emerging legal issues in the Transactional, Corporate, and Real Estate Practice areas.Offer legal advice on matters regarding fiscal responsibilities and transactions.Provide legal counsel on general compliance matters.Resolve issues that arise from projects.Perform other duties as assigned.Requirements:Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.2-5 years of experience practicing as an associate attorney in Transactional, Corporate, or Real Estate law.Demonstrated expertise in drafting, writing, and analytical skills.Strong attention to detail and a high level of organizational skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple projects independently.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctorate (JD) degree.Licensed to practice law in the state of Kentucky.Benefits Offered:Health, dental, and vision insurance.Life and disability insurance.Critical illness, accident, and hospital indemnity insurance.Pet insurance and pet discount program.401(k) plan.Paid time off.
