Position OverviewThe Solar Repair Technician Level 2 position is responsible for assisting the Solar Repair Technician Lead with repairing and maintaining roof and ground-mounted solar systems. This person will follow all company and safety policies and procedures.

Essential Job FunctionsAssist in loading and unloading company vehiclesInstall, repair, and maintain rooftop and ground-mount solar PV systems including: flashing, racking, module-level power electronics (Micro inverters/Optimizers), array wiring, and junction boxesWork on roofs, ladders, crawlspaces, attics, and other residential and commercial areasAccurately pull material based on the construction plansAbility to fill in for Lead Installer when neededBasic understanding of testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting system componentsBasic understanding of schematics and ability to follow technical installation instructionsUnderstand how to navigate through our work platform / CRM / and other applicationsMaintain a clean job site and work truckWork in a fast-paced, demanding work environmentInteract with clients in a respectful mannerPerform other related duties as requiredFollow all company and safety policies and proceduresObtain Fall protection certification from Click Safety (1.5 HR course provided by employer)Obtain Electrical Safety certification from Click Safety (0.4 HR course provided by employer)Obtain OSHA 10 safety training (course provided by employer)Overnight travel may be required

Required Tools and EquipmentPersonal hand tools required including screwdriver set or multi-tool (11 in 1) driver, wire strippers, diagonal wire cutters, impact-rated socket set, socket adapter, tool belt, bag, or backpackWeather-appropriate attire with at least one piece of Purelight Power Company apparel worn at all times when on the clockWeather and job-appropriate footwear
