The selected candidate will be a member of a team providing software development and support to the AvMC Software, Simulation, Systems Engineering and Integration (S3I) Directorate. The candidate will primarily be responsible for developing applications to support Integrated Mission Planning and Airspace Control Tools (IMPACT). The applicant should be able to demonstrate the ability to support application design, development, testing, and documentation.
Candidate will support and participate in:Daily Teams meetingsAgile Sprint Planning, Review, and Retro meetingsSystem/Subsystem designPerformance Studies and AnalysesCustomer Requirements analysis and interpretationVerification & Validation of System Specifications & Design DocumentationSoftware Design ReviewsTechnical Interchange meetingsConfiguration Control BoardsQualifications
Education Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field and five (5) years of software design and development; Six (6) years additional experience can be accepted in lieu of degree (per contract vehicle).Clearance Requirements:Must possess an active Secret security clearance or have the ability to obtain one; US Citizenship required.Required Experiences/Skills:Experience with agile software development methodology like ScrumExperience with programming in C#/.NET using Visual Studio or VS CodeExperience with HTML, JavaScript, CSSExperience with GitExperience working with agile tools like Azure DevOps, Jira, or GitLabExperience with CI/CD pipelines, artifacts, and package feedsDesired Qualifications:
Experience writing cross platform applicationsExperience with Microsoft Multi-platform App UI (MAUI)Experience with BlazorExperience with Android app development using Java or Kotlin in Android StudioExperience with developing Android Tactical Assault Kit (ATAK) pluginsKnowledge of software development process, technical data package documentationExperience with aviation
