DutiesProvides analysis, review, and advice regarding policy and program development activities and matters related to ORR issues, special initiatives, and investigations;Reviews program processes, FOIA responses, reports, data, and other agency materials for accuracy and quality control;Recommends clear formal and informal responses to reports, audits, investigations, inquiries, final management decisions, annual or periodic updates, and other documents as necessary to oversight bodies including, but not limited to, HHS/Office of the Inspector General (OIG), the Government Accountability Office (GAO), Congressional committees or member offices, licensing offices, and ombudsperson's offices;Prepares and leads briefings for ORR senior leadership in advance of engagements with members of Congress, GAO, OIG, or other oversight officials;Serves as a liaison and provides clearance of materials/responses on oversight matters with HHS stakeholders including ACF/Immediate Office of the Assistant Secretary, the Office of the General Counsel, HHS/Assistant Secretary for Legislation, HHS/Assistant Secretary for Financial Resources, HHS/Office of the Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs, and others;Communicates procedure changes in documents, workshops, training, and/or stakeholder meetings.RequirementsU.S. Citizenship requiredRegistered or exempt from Selective Service (www.sss.gov)If not previously completed, a background security investigation will be required for all appointees.
