Senior Network Engineer

Responsible for the day-to-day operations of a complex network system, handling a workload of multiple projects, and maintenance of the network topology.Responsibilities
Responsible for network architecture, design, device procurement, implementation and maintenance of complex network infrastructure to fulfill growing need for reliable and secure company’s production network.Responsible for maintaining stability and integrity of complex network infrastructure data, voice and wireless connectivity by regularly evaluating in-place network infrastructure and recommending new technologies for ever growing resource requirement to improve efficient connectivity throughout production environment. When necessary, work with different IT departments - System, Telecom, Security to derive at better network architecture solutions.Responsible for maintaining efficient and reliable in-place network connectivity for remote sites, corporate offices and data centers through various centralized management tools – not limited to SDWAN Orchestrator, firewall management central, GUI interfaces, SecureCRT to resolve complex networking related issues & outages.Regularly review and maintain firewall rules as directed and exercise extreme caution implementing any new rules on the firewall in data center and corporate offices. As a part of security requirement, follow rules and specific procedure provided to implement any add, delete and modify firewall rules, where required.Responsible for administering Service Now ticketing system, handling of several network incidents, troubleshoot, identify, resolve issues and communicate resolution efficiently while maintaining SLA standards.Provide prompt network support to corporate users, remote users, resolving their issues via ServiceNow and pro-actively verifying efficient corporate, data center network connectivity and managing WAN/LAN deployment.Responsible to manage and deliver multiple projects within expected due dates, ensuring to keep all parties involved informed of progress/obstacles. As per project requirement, configure Cisco device (Routers, Switches, Firepower, Palo Alto, Load Balancer, Monitoring tools) from scratch, perform tests and deploy and monitor network performance for remote, corporate sites.Required to follow in-place procedure for change management while implementing any changes to production environment, mostly after hours for data center changes.Responsible to create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented network systems and update for each system change.Responsible to execute after hour network maintenance for corporate and data center network architecture related to SDWAN, wireless technology after process has been fully approved.Responsible to participate in a week on-call rotation among the team.Qualifications and Education Requirements
7+ years of experience in a LAN/WAN engineering role performing duties at all levels of the network services with BS in Computer Information Systems or related field.7+ years of hands-on experience in network design, deployment, managing/maintaining and troubleshooting networking protocols and technologies such as: Wide Area Networks, Local Area Networks, SDWAN technology, routing, switching and other protocols such as BGP, EIGRP, TCP/IP, SMTP, HSRP etc. security appliances, wireless technology, Data Center experiences and other related technologies, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience with IP addressing, VLSM and IP routing protocols (EIGRP, BGP).Experience with Cisco technologies (Catalyst, ASR, Cisco ASA, Cisco AnyConnect).Strong knowledge of IPv4, IPv6, VOIP, SSL VPN, IPSec VPN.Experience with support tools such as industry standard network monitoring systems (SolarWinds, Auvik, syslog servers).Problem solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills with the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions to respond to common and complex inquiries.Project management, organizational and prioritizing skills are a must.Excellent attitude and interpersonal skills.Must be willing to work outside normal business hours as needed.Preferred Skills
Cisco CCNP, CCIE certifications or equivalent working experiences is acceptable.Problem solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills with the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions to respond to common and complex inquiries.Project management, organizational and prioritizing skills are a must.Excellent attitude and interpersonal skills.Other Duties
