The full-time, exempt position offered is a "Senior Graphic Designer" position at our headquarters. We are seeking the region's best and brightest talent to support some of our state's most high-profile infrastructure projects!ResponsibilitiesGraphic Design, Video Production, and Branding DevelopmentCreate and edit graphic design and video products for client projects and internal needs under the direction of the Creative Services Manager and in collaboration with the Creative Services TeamAssist with the creation of motion graphics and visual design tools, including brand assets and templatesAssist in the development of social media contentDocument Development and ImplementationSupport the development and implementation materials for strategic communications and public involvement efforts, such as noticing, signage, newsletters, handouts, reports, and flyers in accordance with client and project needsDesign meeting agendas and other collateral, as neededClient and Project Management SupportMaintain a positive rapport with Hollaway clients, interfacing and communicating with all clientele proactively and professionallyCreate and maintain internal company communication, coordination, and teaming necessary to deliver work products cooperatively and creatively. This includes adherence to the Hollaway Quality Assurance/Quality Control policyComplete project tasks within the specific amount of time assignedOrganize and archive project files and assetsSupport a regular 30-day invoicing cycle, providing all information necessary to ensure efficient, accurate billingsMaintain 87.5% percent billability annually while completing project tasks safely, accurately, on schedule, and under budgetPlanning and OrganizingPrioritize multiple concurrent assignments effectivelyDelegate tasks to the appropriate personnel, including subcontractors, if necessaryUse proper time management to ensure the client and internal deadlines complete assigned deliverablesCompany OperationsSupport the Executive Team in the company's operational functions to ensure profitability and the efficient use of resources, adherence to safety policies and best management practices, and maintaining constant, open communicationWork with the entire Hollaway Team to maintain all company equipment and supplies so that we are making the most cost-effective decisions about monthly bills, GPS units, office space, computers, vehicles, and other expendituresComplete the training necessary to excel in your practice area and company-mandated trainingComply with all Hollaway policies and procedures and Non-Compete and Confidentiality AgreementsPerform job duties within the company's standard operations and procedures and comply with job-related requests ( e.g. , project management plans, safety plans for public meetings, preparedness, vehicle maintenance, the review process, general office culture, and responsibility)Maintain a positive rapport with clients, vendors, colleagues, and subcontractors proactively and professionallyManage and coordinate calendars to prioritize tasks, juggle multiple deadlines, and keep track of important detailsOther DutiesStays updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and design tools to drive innovation and enhance the team's creative output. Hollaway will provide the means to attend at least one training or professional development conference annually. Additional training and/or conferences may be available and are dependent on approval, pricing, availability, and schedulesTypical work week of 40 - 45 hoursParticipate in occasional meetings that may occur in the evenings and on the weekendsInternal company communication, coordination, and teaming are necessary to deliver work products cooperatively and creativelySupport and maintain an environment of trust, collaboration, and continuous feedbackOther duties as assignedExperience and qualificationsBachelor's (BA or BS)/Associates 2-year degree (plus experience) in graphic design, audiovisual design and editing, film production, communications, or a related field. Certification from a relevant trade program and/or years of relevant experience can be considered in place of a degreeTen(10) or more years of experience in graphic design, video production and design, broadcasting, video technology, audiovisual production, and presentation systems, film and video production techniques, lighting, computer graphics, post-production, editing, script preparation, projects, planning, or a related field preferredPlease provide a portfolio showcasing your graphic design and videography work, highlighting your experience with Adobe Creative Suite, video editing, and any other relevant projectsProven familiarity and expertise in the following:Graphic Design Skills:- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).- Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles- Ability to create visually appealing graphics for digital and print media- Experience in creating logos, newsletters, and brand assets, fact sheetsVideography Skills:- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro).-Ability to shoot and edit videos for various platforms (social media, websites, presentations)- Knowledge of video formats, codecs, and exporting for different platforms- Understanding of storytelling through video and visual narrative techniquesTechnical Skills:- Familiarity with camera equipment and lighting setups- Ability to storyboard and script video projects- Experience in motion graphics and animation (Adobe After Effects, etc.).Ability to diligently and carefully plan and implement deliverables, including but not limited to plans and strategies, copywriting, large-scale public meetings, stakeholder workshops, presentations, informational video productions, collateral materials, and web toolsProficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.Possession of a valid driver's licenseAbility to lift up to 50 pounds.Ability to sit and/or stand for long periodsProfessional SkillsAbility to demonstrate leadership presence and maturityAbility to make sound, high-level decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic settingStrong and effective presentation skillsAbility to successfully handle client interactions and conflictsStrong interpersonal, relationship-building, and negotiating skillsStrategic and critical thinking skills to evaluate and understand the impact of their decisionsExceptional attention to detail and organization skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to effectively delegate and prioritize assignments among your teamExcellent time management skillsAbility to work on own initiative to identify and resolve problemsStrong ability to communicate with a variety of audiences, including fellow leaders, clients, and employeesActive listening skillsPossess a high level of self-awarenessAbility to implement thoughtful and inclusive conflict resolution strategiesTeam-player attitudeAbility to work on own initiative to identify and resolve problemsAbility to use empathetic conflict resolutionAbility to effectively interpret dataStrong time management skillsAbility to maintain project budgetsDependable and self-motivatingFlexible in scheduling and availabilityPunctual and respectful of schedules and deadlinesReliable editing skillsEmployee Benefits:In addition to the salary offered, Hollaway provides a competitive benefits package that includes paid time off, retirement benefits, medical, dental/vision, disability, and life insurance.
