Position: Marketing Communications and Design SpecialistLocation: Hybrid - Onsite 2-3x per week, Chicago - West Loop GateStatus: Freelance - Contract to hireEstimated Duration: OngoingStarts: October 2024Hourly Rate: $45- $55/HrJob Description:We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Marketing Communications and Design Specialist for our client in the financial services and law industry.This position is full time and will last 3-6 months. This position is based in Chicago, and looking for local talent.For the right fit, this position may convert to a direct hire position. The expectation is for a hybrid schedule, in office 2-3 days per week at their office in West Loop Gate.Communications SupportCreate and update marketing content including attorney bios, practice descriptions, deal descriptions, pitch decks, brochures, advertisements, news releases, and other marketing/recruiting contentProvide project management for the development of new or updated marketing content with minimum supervision and tight deadlines.Ensure content accuracy, clarity, and consistency.Ensure content effectively represents the Firm's capabilities, policies, and services.Design SupportAdapt and format content for client alerts, pitches, presentations, brochures, LinkedIn profiles, and other marketing/recruiting materials, following Firm templates.Create and update social media reels.REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's degree.Experience in writing content for complex financial and/or legal services audiences.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsExceptional attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.Dependability, adaptability, problem-solvingHigh degree of client service attitude; strong organizational and time management skills.High degree of integrity and confidentiality.Strong proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Adobe Express).
