Position: Marketing Proposal and Content WriteLocation: Hybrid - Onsite 2-3x per week, Chicago - West Loop GateStatus: Freelance - Contract to hireEstimated Duration: OngoingStarts: October 2024Hourly Rate: $45 - $55 /HrJob Description:We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Proposal and Marketing Content Specialist to for our client in the financial services and law industry. It is required to have knowledge of financial services and a financial copy writing background.This position is full time and will last 3-6 months. This position is based in Chicago, and looking for local talent.For the right fit, this position may convert to a direct hire position. The expectation is for a hybrid schedule, in office 2-3 days per week. Exceptions may be made for non-local talent to work remotely, for the right fit.Proposal Support:Provide project management for the development and submission of request for proposals (RFPs) with minimum supervision and tight deadlines.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather information and draft proposal content, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and consistency.Ensure proposal content follows RFP questions, requirements, and guidelines.Ensure content effectively represents the Firm's capabilities, policies, and services.Content Development and Support:Create and update marketing contentAdapt and format content for pitches, presentations, brochures, LinkedIn profiles, and other marketing/recruiting materialsREQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree and writing samplesExperience in proposal writing and knowledge of proposal best practiceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExceptional attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.Dependability, adaptability, problem-solving; strong analytical skillsHigh degree of client service attitude; strong organizational and time management skills.High degree of integrity and confidentiality.Strong proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (InDesign proficiency a plus).
