- Responsible for preparing property tax, local, state and federal- Review sales & use tax- Gather all necessary financial information/reporting- Process improvement to maximize tax efficiencies- Review Tax compliance- Stay up to date with changing tax codes and accounting standards- Complete reconciliations, journal entries and closings as needed- Assistance with budgeting and planning
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS OF THE TAX ACCOUNTANTBachelor's in Accounting2-5 years' experience in tax accountingExperience in public is a plusExperience with Oracle or SAP is a plus
