About The Role

As Vice President of North America Sales, you will have full responsibility for sales strategy and sales execution for OPIS (Dow Jones' Energy, Chemicals, and Renewables business) in North America. You will develop regional strategies based on clients' businesses, goals, and strategies. You will also manage multi-disciplined teams and integrate products and services required to meet business needs. You will report to the Senior Vice President of Global Sales at OPIS

You Will

Develop and implement strategic sales plans that drive account revenue growth for Dow Jones Energy in North AmericaDesign and refine sales processes, methodologies and organizational structures to scale and support growth coming from organic sources and client acquisitionProvide functional leadership and lead organizational accountability by reviewing major account plans, managing the sales pipeline, and tracking progress against plansEnsure accurate forecasting of revenue and expenses, develop annual and quarterly sales targets, and establish sales compensation plans and policiesAdjust team direction and sales plans to meet commitmentsRecruit, mentor, and motivate a world-class sales team who can grow with the businessCollaborate with peers and colleagues to share best-practices and ensure consistency across the organizationManage internal and external change to ensure that new programs, products, and approaches are accepted by the teamCollaborate with the team to ensure that they are working towards target customer accounts' business strategyOversee, and deploy resources into customer accounts, facilitate ongoing communication through regular team meetings, and serve as the primary contact for troubleshooting or issues requiring immediate attention for targeted accountsEnsure that there are appropriate resources to meet annual sales goals and monitor progress against account plansWork with business leaders to use customer feedback and insights to form new products and solutions

You Have

20+ years' experience in sales and sales managementKnowledge and in-depth understanding of the Energy, Chemical and Renewable industry within the North American regionExperience selling Energy, Chemicals, and Renewables market dataProvided sales leadership that exceeded sales targets for a headcount and revenue growth-oriented organization of a similar sizeForecast, sales planning, and regional outcome management skillsExperience driving external sales relationships at C-levelNo restrictions that will affect travel across the territoryUniversity degree or relevant work experience in the Energy Industry

Pay Range: $225,000 - $285,000
