BTG is seeking an experienced full-time

Senior Consultant

with extensive experience in compliance, procurement, and outreach, along with understanding and navigating Civil Rights Programs in the government sector. The Senior Consultant must possess the capability to determine whether the information gathered, next steps, and overall sufficiency in prompt payments to DBEs.

The winning candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of workforce Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) programs and relevant knowledge of the Civil Rights ADA 504 Accessibility Compliance Program.

SUMMARY:The Senior Consultant will typically manage several consulting projects simultaneously and will regularly have the opportunity to apply their existing analytical skills and problem-solving experience.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage client relationships to completion of project(s).

Develop business opportunities with existing and new clients.

Lead project teams comprising of consultants, junior consultants, and analysts.

Define consulting tasks, manage project resources, and lead analysis.

Coordinate and collaborate on scheduled meetings to discuss upcoming and pending procurement opportunities.

Work with client to identify DBE procurement opportunities.

Research firms and review their capabilities for client procurement opportunities.

Identify and submit firms to clients per capabilities match.

Review procurement packages to include solicitations, modifications, received proposals and pricing, and evaluation criteria.

Identify community partners and stakeholders for the purpose of collaborative outreach support to the small businesses and target workforce groups on the project.

Coordinate introductory meetings with clients and the identified community partners.

Lead and assist with the coordination of outreach events to support the small business community on the project.

Perform compliance duties along with supporting DBE and SWaM Firm Technical Assistance aspects.

Meet with various supportive service organizations to identify resources to support small businesses on the project (i.e., banking institutions, colleges/ universities, chambers of commerce, other government entities, non-profit organizations, etc.).

Identify outreach events to attend that would aid in supporting small businesses and the workforce on the project.

Contribute skills and experience to the management of the consulting business.

Ensure that BTG’s brand and work maintain the highest standards of quality and ethical conduct.

Write and prepare reports while managing multiple components of project workload.

Related projects/work duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This job does not have supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

A minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience.

BA or BS degree.

High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

Exceptional analytical (quantitative and qualitative) and communication skills.
