Job Description:As the Area Director of Operations for Ace Brands' Popeyes locations in Evansville, Owensboro, Bowling Green, and surrounding areas, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success and growth of our restaurants. You will be responsible for overseeing the operational performance of multiple locations within your designated area, ensuring adherence to brand standards, maximizing profitability, and fostering a culture of exceptional guest service.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Excellence:
Lead and direct the day-to-day operations of multiple Popeyes restaurants, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.
Financial Management:
Drive profitability by effectively managing budgets, controlling costs, and optimizing sales performance across all locations.
People Leadership:
Recruit, train, and develop high-performing teams, providing coaching and support to ensure consistent delivery of exceptional service and operational excellence.
Quality Assurance:
Maintain rigorous standards for food safety, cleanliness, and product quality, conducting regular inspections and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Strategic Planning:
Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute strategic plans for business growth, including new store openings, remodels, and market expansion initiatives.
Performance Analysis:
Analyze key performance metrics and financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, taking proactive measures to drive continuous operational enhancements.
Stakeholder Management:
Build and maintain positive relationships with franchise owners, corporate partners, suppliers, and other key stakeholders, serving as a brand ambassador for Popeyes.
Reporting and Analytics:
Communicate with and report to the current Director of Operations, providing regular reports and analytics on key performance metrics, operational initiatives, and market trends.
Qualifications:
1-2 years of multi-unit restaurant management experience, with a proven track record of success in the quick-service or fast-casual dining industry.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve exceptional results.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
Thorough understanding of restaurant operations, including food safety, inventory management, and labor scheduling.
Previous experience in chicken concept preferred.
Demonstrated financial acumen and experience with budgeting, P&L analysis, and financial reporting.
Flexibility to travel within the designated area as needed.
