About the Team

The Adobe Change and Release Management-ASM team (CaRMA) falls under the umbrella of ASM. At our core, we develop strategic, outstanding, ITSM frameworks for all of Adobe. We are an eager team of hardworking Service Managers, that want to do the right thing.About the Role

ACaRM is looking for their next Senior Release Manager. This person will join a team committed to empower Engineering teams to deploy services in a safe, resilient, and agile manner by providing an outstanding Change and Release Management framework. As a Senior Release Manager, you will be responsible for designing and implementation of industry leading processes for a complex production environment. You will lead strategically and consistently ask yourself, does this current process scale across all of Adobe?About You

You are a strategic problem solver at your core, with a proven understanding of different SDLC methodologies including agile, iterative, bing bang, or waterfall. You have a solid understanding of Release Management deployment strategies including canaries, blue green, and A/B testing. The ideal candidate is a hardworking and inspiring leader in the service management space with tried experience in establishing and governing a change/release practice in both an on-prem and multi-cloud environment. You are a data driven decision maker, comfortable communicating at all levels of an organization, including formal and informal presentations with metrics. You have a solid understanding of technology, including how API payloads and operations work together and capable of having more technical conversations. You are the product owner of Change and Release Management all up.What you'll Do

Deliver on an effective Change and Release Management strategy, aligned to Adobe objectivesDrive adoption of effective Adobe wide frameworks through partnership and influenceEnsure framework evolution addresses product and development lifecyclesWork cross-functionally with product/program management to ensure roadmaps are aligned and socializedRepresent Change and Release Management in varying meetings with executives and partners to ensure regular communication, updates, and follow upsUnderstand, monitor, and report on the overall health of Change and Release Management across Adobe and be responsible for the resolution of cross-functional issues.What you need to succeed

Tried experience with ITSM frameworks, specifically Change and Release Management, but with Incident and Problem as wellPrevious experience handling multiple partners and demonstrated influence without authorityExcellent Communication skills in both written and verbal ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical partnersDemonstrated technical competence with experience working with developers and designersTrack record of defining and implementing strategies that build valueThrive in a fast paced, constantly evolving, environmentA passion for setting standards and driving methodologiesOur compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $101,300 -- $216,300 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.
