Scion Nonprofit Staffing, an award-winning full-service staffing firm, has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for a Business Development and Recruitment Manager on behalf of our client, a forward-thinking university focused on empowering the next generation of innovators in business and technology. This full-time onsite role is available for immediate hire to candidates located near San Diego, CA.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Business Development & Recruitment Manager will play a key part in boosting student enrollment and fostering institutional growth by leveraging innovative recruitment strategies, strong relationship management, and effective leadership. It integrates deep expertise in sales management, marketing, and customer relationship management to engage prospective students and meet enrollment objectives successfully.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design and implement creative recruitment strategies to attract potential students.Oversee and strengthen outreach efforts across various platforms, including digital marketing, social media, and direct engagement.Coordinate and participate in recruitment events, open houses, and campus tours to connect with prospective students.Establish and reach ambitious student enrollment targets.Leverage CRM systems to manage the student journey from inquiry through to enrollment.Deliver sales training and ongoing support to the recruitment team.Collaborate with the marketing department to ensure alignment of recruitment campaigns.Analyze market trends and adjust strategies to address evolving demographics and competitive conditions.Track recruitment performance and generate regular reports on key metrics to leverage data to inform decisions and enhance recruitment results.Develop and sustain partnerships with educational institutions and industry leaders.Cultivate long-term relationships with students, strengthening the university's reputation and expanding the alumni network.Lead and inspire a team focused on meeting recruitment goals.Set clear performance expectations and standards while fostering a collaborative team environment.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Masters degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field.3-5 years of experience in recruitment, admissions, or sales within higher education or related industries.Demonstrated success in consistently meeting or surpassing sales and enrollment targets.Experience leading and managing teams in a supervisory or managerial role.Knowledge of CRM and lead management tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot.Proficiency in digital marketing tools and analytics platforms.Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.Skilled in managing complex projects and handling multiple tasks efficiently.Compassionate listener and communicator, proficient in meeting the needs of students.Flexible and resilient, capable of managing shifts in evolving environments.An inspiring leader who energizes teams and captivates prospective students.Ability to travel both internationally and domestically.Excellent networking and relationship-building capabilities.COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

The salary range for this role is $90,000-120,000 (DOE) and a comprehensive benefits package!
