Director of Development

for our client, a highly regarded specialized educational institution that serves children, youth, and families in need in

San Jose, CA ! This is a wonderful full-time, on-site, direct-hire opportunity to join an inspiring as well as mission-driven team!

Perks:-Competitive salary range of $110,000-$125,000 annually plus benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance plans, 401(k) match, and more!-Hybrid work environment (3 days on-site, 2 remote) after an initial on-site training period.

Position Overview:The Director of Development will oversee and implement all fundraising activities, manage relations with funding partners, and secure financial support through grants and sponsorship.

What you'll be doing:? Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising plan to generate philanthropic support.? Establish fundraising objectives for the organization, setting both short and long-term goals.? Assess and forecast fundraising needs based on current and projected income and expense cycles.? Identify and cultivate community relations that promote financial giving.? Maintain a list of potential financial donors including corporations, foundations, and individuals.? Research potential sources of, actively pursue, and manage viable grants and public funding.? Oversees the fundraising process and maintains records of receipts and disbursements of funds. ? Plans fundraising events that effectively communicate the purposes of the organization.? Managing the implementation of development software.? Provides ED and BOD regular fundraising updates.

What you need to be successful:- 5+ years of development/fundraising experience for a non-profit organization.- Bachelor's degree required.-Adept at creating and implementing strategic fundraising plans.-Prospect research knowledge and experience.

Compensation:Salary range of $110,000 - $125,000 annually plus benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance plans, 401(k) match, and more!
