Total Wine & More is seeking an
Associate, Market Management
to join our Merchandising team in our Bethesda, MD office.
You will be involved with wine, beer and spirits buying and replenishment for stores in the Total Wine & More chain. You will manage vendor relations and issues for their region(s) and help establish and determine process improvements. Our Market Management team is a unique mix of supply chain and buying; the team has an impact on the products we sell. You will report to the Sr. Director, Market Management.You will
Serve as primary contact for multiple wine & spirit wholesalers in assigned marketManage collection and maintenance of wholesalers’ cost dataCreate Replenishment Orders and PO placementPerform cost and deal analysisResolve Vendor Service Issues and coordinate with vendorsRespond to inquiries regarding supplier product availability and costsManage store in stock rates and inventory levelsReconcile invoices and POsPrepare content for recurring meetings with wholesaler partnersIdentify opportunities to drive sales through promotional activity related to in-store displays, retail reductions or advertising and working inter-departmentally to achieve resultsYou will come with
4-year degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Supply Chain or related field2+ years of experience in Buying or Supply ChainStrong verbal and written communication skillsBasic Accounting skills and interest in performing accounting tasksMust be proficient in Microsoft applications including Excel (can use complex functions, pivot tables, V-lookup functions, etc.)We offer
