Senior Manager, Social Media Marketing & Strategy – Denver, COThe Senior Manager, Social Media Marketing & Strategy will develop a comprehensive social media function to differentiate Western Union in the marketplace. This role requires a deep understanding of social media platforms, marketing principles, and strategic thinking to create impactful and cohesive brand experiences across various channels.Role ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement a holistic social media strategy plan that aligns with overall business objectives and drives brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth.Work with our leading social media agency and key stakeholders (GTM teams, Marketing Strategy, Brand & Creative, Foundation, Legal) for the development and rollout of engaging and compelling content across various social media platforms, monitoring, analyzing, and sharing key performance to improve results ensuring consistency of brand messaging and tone.Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media and marketing campaigns, analyze data, and provide actionable insights to drive continuous improvement.Drive the development and implementation of a social media crisis management plan, ensuring effective handling of potential issues and maintaining the brand's reputation.Lead and inspire various stakeholders, within and outside marketing, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of campaigns and initiatives.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, and creative, to ensure integrated and cohesive marketing campaigns across multiple channels.Manage relationships with external agencies, vendors, and influencers to maximize the reach and impact of marketing initiatives.Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in social media and marketing, and incorporate innovative approaches into strategies and campaigns.Role Requirements8+ years of experience in social media marketing, marketing strategy, or a related field, with a proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns in a multi-channel retailer or financial services company.Proven ability to lead diverse, geographically dispersed teams.Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.Strong understanding of social media platforms, tools, analytics, and best practices, with a demonstrated ability to leverage them effectively to achieve marketing goals.Demonstrated experience successfully planning, organizing, managing, and implementing critical programs with end-to-end oversight.Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements related to marketing and social media.Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of leading and inspiring cross-functional teams to achieve marketing objectives.Creative mindset with a passion for innovative marketing approaches and staying ahead of industry trends.SalaryThe salary range is

$110,112 - $183,521

per year, total on-target earnings include short-term and long-term incentives that align with individual and company performance.
