Position Overview:

The Director of Special Programs & Partner Engagement is responsible for managing and supporting the Domestic Violence Fatality Review and Child & Youth Services Program Managers. This role involves fostering a collaborative culture among a diverse group of partners and stakeholders to align services with the family justice center model, thereby enhancing the Rose Andom Center’s ability to serve victims of intimate partner abuse and sexual assault effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Management:

Supervise and guide the development and growth of Child & Youth Services programming, including Pathways and Camp Hope, in collaboration with the Child & Youth Services Program Manager.

Oversee the Domestic Violence Fatality Review program, including the Denver Metro DV Fatality Review Team and the Colorado DV Fatality Review Board. Support the expansion of statewide regional review teams, providing training and technical assistance as needed, working with the Domestic Violence Fatality Review Program Manager.

Manage the Volunteer and Outreach Program Manager to enhance volunteer and intern programs and community outreach activities.

Strategic Planning and Implementation:

Collaborate with the Executive Director, Associate Director, and leadership team to assess and implement improvements and programmatic expansions in alignment with the Rose Andom Center’s mission, strategic plan, and funding opportunities.

Partner Engagement and Collaboration:

Develop and maintain strong partner relationships to ensure effective service delivery for victims/survivors.

Coordinate communication strategies with partners, including facilitating weekly check-ins, sending weekly updates, and organizing regular partner meetings.

Provide trauma-informed, culturally sensitive leadership to promote a respectful and safe environment for all victim/survivors.

Organize and plan quarterly All Partner Team meetings in collaboration with the Associate Director, Executive Director, and Director of Advocacy Services.

Oversee onboarding for new partner staff, ensuring they understand office logistics, security protocols, the FJC model, and partner expectations.

Regularly review, update, and individualize partner MOUs to clarify expectations and commitment.

Identify training needs for partners and staff, coordinating cross-collaborative learning opportunities and developing resources as needed.

Disseminate partner-wide information, such as research articles and training tools, and work to identify and fill gaps in community engagement and partnerships.

Data and Reporting:

Collect and track data from partner agencies to demonstrate the impact of co-located services and ensure accurate tracking of victim services.

Use data analysis to inform continuous quality improvement in service delivery and partner engagement.

Collaborate with Executive and Associate Directors to integrate data collection methods into organizational tools.

Collect anecdotal data and develop evaluation or feedback surveys to assess partner perceptions and the impact of Rose Andom Center services.

Ensure a safe work environment for all staff and partners, adhering to Rose Andom Center policies and best practices.
