We are hiring a

Director of Talent Acquisition

who will provide leadership in the planning, development, implementation, and daily operations of the department in a safe and cost-effective manner that supports the goals of the District.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in education or a business-related field.

Five (5) years of administrative experience with progressively responsible duties in recruitment or related experience.

Valid Florida driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree in human resources or a business-related field.

Recruitment experience in a public school system.

SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP Certification.

Relevant work experience or education may be used to satisfy minimum qualifications.

Essential Job Functions:

Develop relationships with leadership to ensure ongoing success of recruitment strategies.

Proactively engage leadership across the District to anticipate and assess recruitment needs based on current and future business requirements.

Develop recruitment and retention strategies in the areas of talent acquisition, talent management, and succession planning.

Research and develop opportunities to recruit, retain, and promote a culturally diverse workforce.

Supervise the recruiting team and ensure responsiveness to the needs of the business and continuously improve processes and practices.

Oversee the talent acquisition function to drive recruiting standards ensuring the right tools, processes, practices, and measurements are in place to execute in a high-volume recruiting environment.

Advise hiring managers regarding best practices in recruitment and hiring.

Manage partnerships with colleges and universities.

Oversee the District’s scholarship programs and internship placements.

Collaborate with community partners and other District stakeholders to promote recruitment and retention strategies.

Monitor and review quarterly and annual metrics reporting for recruitment.
