Sanabria & Associates, PLLC, is a fast-growing and prestigious law firm with multiple offices in Maryland, DC, Virginia, and Florida. We are seeking highly motivated and qualified attorneys for various offices in Maryland, DC, and Virginia.
Immigration experience is preferred, but we welcome motivated lawyers with experience litigating cases in other legal areas who desire to become practitioners in the immigration field. The ideal candidate will be a great communicator, team member, manager, and self-starter. The candidate must also possess good business acumen and the desire to work in a fast-paced, high-volume, high-growth practice.
If selected, the attorney will work with members of the Immigration department to pursue litigation and legal advocacy on a broad spectrum of issues, which may include the right to counsel, asylum laws, issues around the immigration courts, and border enforcement.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate case and legal strategy
Manage multiple cases and deadlines
Prepare and revise court documents
Conduct legal research and write motions, briefs, and memoranda
Keep abreast of legislative changes and judicial case law
Market the law firm's services
Handle court hearings and trials
QUALIFICATIONS:
J.D. from an ABA Accredited Law School (required)
Active Bar License in Good Standing from any US State or PR (required)
Authorized to work in the US
Fluent in Spanish (required)
Immigration experience (1 year or more)
