Sr Java Developer

Insight global is looking for a lead Java developer for a large financial client in Omaha, NE, Berkeley Heights, NJ or Frisco, TX. The developer will be joining the government solutions organization that supports state, local and federal government projects. This team is responsible for the modernization of several user facing and non-user facing electronic tax payment applications from Java 8 to Java 17. Strong core knowledge of backend Java development is highly desired. This is a very collaborative team and strong communications skills are a must. This position is 5 days per week onsite and estimated pay range is 70 80/hr depending on years of experience.

Required Skills & Experience
5 -10 years of backend Java development experience preferably with Java 17Experience with the Spring Framework including spring boot and spring securityExperience with object-oriented analysis and design using common design patternsProficient with technologies like HTML, JavaScript, CSS, JQueryPrior experience with confluence and Jira
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Front End Development experience preferably AngularAwareness of FedRAMP, FISMA, and/or Zero Trust Architecture strongly desired.Prior experience with the Azure cloudExperience with Azure DevOps for documentation
