The L3 Activation Oncology Associate Director role is responsible for liaising with Oncology brand teams to understand their brand-specific strategies and priorities in order to inform the activation of their L3 Brand Plans. It is responsible for effectively translating Oncology marketing campaigns from Brand Teams into tactical execution plans. This role drives collaboration across different APEX verticals to execute new engagement experiences and drive outcomes for Oncology brands. It consolidates learnings from across Oncology Brand Teams to identify future APEX capabilities and services.

The role will collaborate closely with the Global L3 team to share learnings and keep up to date on our global commercial framework (L3 NEXT). This role must have a comprehensive understanding of diverse areas and how they interconnect, including brand marketing, campaign planning, the omnichannel landscape, and paid and owned media.

Enact L3 methodologies and activate Oncology brand strategies within APEX by actively identifying and engaging the appropriate stakeholders across APEX required to execute them.

Capture the comprehensive needs of One our Company's Experience to activate Oncology brands’ desired “Learn” strategy to accelerate OME objectives.

Attend Oncology brand team meetings, highlighting potential opportunities for APEX teams and functions to drive impactful outcomes.

Articulate how the work implemented ties to Oncology business priorities, pinpoint unaddressed needs and gaps, and devise actionable plans to bridge these.

Serve as the liaison between Oncology brand teams and other APEX teams.

Identify common themes and strategies across Oncology brand teams and share them with the Director, L3 Activation.

Collaborate across teams/key stakeholders, e.g., Brand Leadership, Medical, HHDDA, and Global teams, to drive project execution.

Create executive-level presentations and/or reporting of Oncology brand plan activation recommendations for appropriate senior management.

Proactively identify opportunities to elevate marketing outcomes within Oncology, leveraging insights into their unique priorities and requirements.

Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of Oncology’s business strategy, priorities, and needs to activate the L3 brand plans.

Share learnings with Director, L3 Activation as part of feedback to Global L3 Next team on how to improve the L3 framework.

Partner with Global L3 teams to understand upcoming changes and new features to the L3 framework.

Education Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree

Required Experience and Skills:

3+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: Marketing strategy, brand strategy planning, digital process mapping or launch strategy design.

5+ years healthcare industry knowledge.

Experience working on and leading agile teams.

Demonstrates customer-centric, growth mindset and mental agility to meet business needs.

Demonstrated ability to think critically and creatively, challenge the status quo, and drive change.

Demonstrated ability to prioritize initiatives, work and mobilize resources to drive release plans.

Demonstrated ability to drive business process improvement and measurement of results (metrics and KPIs).

Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate and adjust communications to the audience.

Strong collaboration skills - ability to help teams understand the big picture, their role, and expectations to work together to achieve objectives.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

Ability to translate business needs to marketing capabilities.

3+ years of experience in influencing stakeholders in a matrixed environment.

Change management skills – ability to gain sponsorship for change and work as a change agent to effectively drive change.

Strong understanding or aptitude to learn business processes, practices and regulations pertaining to the pharma industry in the US Market.
