Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Manager who will have the opportunity to join the team of a 40-year, Family Owned, Premier Boat Dealership. As Director, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of professionals in various roles at our two service facilities.
Duties:
Provide exceptional customer service through organized processes and procedures.
Oversee key internal relationships with service advisors, parts department, warranty department, technicians and facility associates in order to maintain a healthy work environment.
Prepare estimates and work orders as well as review the service advisors' estimates and work orders.
Collaborate with sales teams to identify and capitalize on all opportunities.
Provide leadership by motivating, coaching and evaluating team members.
Ensure employee certifications are kept up to date and maintain a training schedule.
Maintain and implement safety procedures that comply with industry standards.
Identify areas for cost savings and implement cost-effective solutions.
Oversee upkeep of company vehicles, equipment, trailers and tools.
Maintain factory & vendor relationships.
Monitor key metrics to improve efficiencies and profit.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 Years of proven experience as a Manager or Director in a similar leadership role. Preferably in Marine but Automotive and RV considered as well.
Strong knowledge of marine systems including boats, outboard engines and electronics.
Experience with Dealer Management Systems. LightSpeed or equivalent.
Excellent leadership and management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
