Director Of Supply Chain

Responsibilities:

Plays a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing various facets of the supply chain to ensure operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and cost-effectiveness. This multifaceted role involves strategic sourcing, production scheduling, customer program management, warehousing, inventory control, and continuous improvement.

Build and lead a multidisciplinary team of supply chain and program management professionals, providing direction, coaching, and support to ensure effective execution of procurement strategies, inventory management, production scheduling, and customer program fulfillment.

Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers, negotiating contracts, managing supplier performance, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and goods to meet both production and customer program requirements.

Oversee warehouse operations to optimize inventory levels, minimize carrying costs, and ensure availability of materials and finished goods to support production schedules and customer program fulfillment.

Synchronize procurement activities to create and manage production schedules that optimize resource utilization, minimize lead times, and align with customer demand requirements. Collaborate closely with production teams to address scheduling conflicts, streamline workflows, and improve overall operational efficiency.

Serve as the primary point of contact for customer program requirements, managing program timelines from inception to delivery, coordinating cross-functional activities, and ensuring successful execution of customer deliverables in alignment with contractual agreements.

Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including the implementation of Lean Six Sigma methodologies. Analyze cost drivers, raw material commodity & market trends, and procurement costs to identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction throughout the supply chain. Implement cost reduction initiatives and optimize spending while maintaining quality standards and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.

APICS, CPIM, and/or CSCP certification are a plus.

Additional Information:

Pay Rate: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year

Shift: Monday to Friday, First Shift hours - Full Time (On Call)

Location: Memphis, TN
