About the job

Turning Point Brands is seeking a driven and resourceful social media manager to assist in growing and managing the company’s brands’ presence across all social media platforms. The company’s brands range from Zig-Zag, the Rolling Paper company established in 1879 to the innovative white pouch category with the brand FRE. You will be responsible for creating and developing social media campaigns, engaging with the community and developing creative content.

Essential Functions

Lead the vision across the brands’ social media strategy, including content planning and communication of key brand moments, campaigns, as well as product and brand collaboration launches across social media channels (Instagram, Tik-Tok and YouTube)

Promote brand partnerships on social media in collaboration with the brand manager’s partnership plan.

Oversee all social media channels, including day-to-day management (posting, copywriting and community engagement)

Develop strategies to strengthen and grow the community on existing social media platforms, as well as develop strategies for emerging social platforms

Partner cross-functionally within the organization to integrate social and community strategies in all areas of the business (new product launches, key company highlights, etc.)

Develop and create content for all social media profiles including but not limited to, producing photoshoots, developing video concepts, graphics (both still and motion) and writing copy

Build meaningful relationships with brand partners and other key influencers and brands

Prepare, analyze and distribute reports on social media performance to internal stakeholders and make recommendations, updates and improvements based on findings

Use social media marketing tools for scheduling and to report monthly analytics

Monitor user engagement and develop content optimizations based off engagement reports

Opportunity to manage team of 1-3 internal employees

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's Degree

Strong knowledge and understanding of Instagram/Facebook, Tik-Tok and YouTube

3-5 years of social media and community management experience

Social media portfolio that demonstrates creativity and storytelling (not required, but is a plus)

Strong creative problem-solving skills with the desire to learn and assist others

Strong copywriting skills

Strong organizational skills

A positive attitude that contributes to the overall success of a collaborative environment

The pay range for this role is between $88,000 to $115,000 a year.
