Cybersecurity Analyst

in Kokomo, IN/Hybrid.

Duration: 3-4 Months with possible contract to hire// with possible extension

Description:Client PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for a "dynamic, results driven" individual to join as a manufacturing cybersecurity analyst. The manufacturing cybersecurity analyst will be part of the shop floor systems Center of Excellence (COE) for PDS. The COE currently develops and supports critical applications that support the 5 former DT electrification plants, and the upcoming plant in Viana, Portugal. The hire will support the strategy, development, implementation and maintenance of manufacturing cybersecurity systems. The Manufacturing Cybersecurity Analyst must be able to work well with engineering, business end users, manufacturing, test, controls engineers, and operations personnel. This person needs to have the ability to gather business requirements and convert them into functional specifications for use in the design and development of solutions. The successful candidate needs to be able to work independently, communicate business requirements, develop, and configure in the toolsets deployed, perform functional testing to confirm functionality and work with key users to gain approval for all changes before moving changes to the production environment. The person in this role will work towards continuous improvement in processes and end-user skill levels, diligently pursue enhancements to ensure the systems are secure and being used properly and fully to meet the business needs. This person must monitor these solutions for issues/errors and assist in the notification and resolution of the issues.

The Manufacturing Cybersecurity Analyst will work with both internal and external teams and work cross-functionally between the business and IT to bridge the gaps between design, content, and technology. The position is fully aligned with the business domain and operates as a trusted and well-informed strategic partner.

Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, or comparable course of studies2+ years' experience in development of software required2+ years' experience with relational databases requiredRequires basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles (encryption, security properties, encryption algorithms, keys/certificates/signatures)

Development experience in one or more languages:

SQL, PythonWorking knowledge of VMwareWorking knowledge of Windows Server and Linux Operating SystemsAttention to detail and ability to quickly learn new technologies and tools

Work in partnership with manufacturing test engineering, systems engineering, and software engineering to anticipate requirements for integration of new manufacturing cybersecurity requirements and at the same time actively listen to requirements raised by local teams.Facilitate short and long-term strategic planning sessions with both central and local teams to improve, enhance and innovate business capability.Support the roll-out of processes and procedures compliant with latest cybersecurity standards and regulationsSupport cybersecurity risk assessmentsInterface with cybersecurity experts from major OEM manufacturersWork in partnership with the IT functions to anticipate the evolution of the information system architecture and determine specific actions to mitigate the risk of ongoing technology obsolescence.Provide 2nd level support for manufacturing operations including support, issue resolution and problem solvingResponsible for gathering business requirements and objectives for cybersecurity projectsWork closely with internal resources from IT, engineering, and operations on designing, developing, configuring, implementing, and maintaining systems for efficient and effective cybersecurity tool execution.Conduct key user training regarding shop floor systems as needed to ensure the systems are being used properly and that they are meeting business needsHelp to configure and prepare the system for new products that are to be built at the manufacturing plant. This will include configuring, debugging, and deploying Document and maintain processesExcellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills (oral and written)Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others; work harmoniously and effectively as part of a global teamAbility to work in remote and dispersed working environments such as overseas locations, cultural differences, and split time-zonesFluent in English, written and verbal
