The Associate Channel Marketing Manager will support the delivery of Werner's strategic plans across our retail partners. In this role, the Associate Channel Manager is responsible for supporting and implementing strategies that drive growth for WernerCo and our customers, with a primary focus on digital activation, data analytics, pricing management and internet marketplaces. As the Associate Channel Manager, you will help lead digital activation strategies from conception to execution. You will partner with channel, product management and sales counterparts to understand long term & short-term goals that translate into effective marketing campaigns across retailers and channels. This position plays a critical role in supporting pricing management processes and strategies that enable omnichannel cohesiveness across Werner's customer channels.Responsibilities

Digital Marketing

:Digital Shelf : Engage with cross-functional subject matter experts to incorporate best practices into the digital shelf.

Online Assortment Management : Partner with internal planning teams to determine optimal product mix and omnichannel cohesiveness.Content Support : Support strategic projects around content development, online catalog improvement, paid digital media programs and customer website management.Campaign Execution : Develops the segmentation of digital campaigns in alignment with business goals and expectations.On-Site Awareness : Ensure proper use of messaging framework and call-to-action strategy for Ecommerce marketing vehicles (emails, banner ads, landing pages, brand pages, etc.)Digital Analytics : Leverage analytics tools to understand digital campaign performance and distill insights to drive growth.Customer & Channel Support

:Strategic Planning : Support the strategic planning process, recommending growth and distribution strategies, conversion programming and marketing initiatives for the channel to meet business, brand, and financial objectives.New Product Commercialization : Support cross-functional marketing teams to develop channel distribution strategies and go-to-market/commercialization plans that maximize new product potential in the channel. From business case through launch, advocate for assigned channel and collaborate with development teams to ensure success of new product concepts with customers and end users.Category Management : support channel marketing, sales and business segment leads to making well-informed decisions from data driven, actionable insights. Leverage analytics to inform innovation pipeline and build future portfolio that drives trade up, grows margin and increases share of shelf. Budget: Partner with Sr. Director to effectively plan and allocate available funding for channel to maximize ROI and manage programming within available budgets.Pricing Management

:Monitor and enforce the company's Unilateral Advertised Price Policy (UAP.) Leverage third party monitoring software to identify issues of non-acquiescence across various sales channels and communicate with online resellers regarding known issues.Provide consistent and timely reporting of program status and partner with Legal to address recurring or persistent issues of non-acquiescence and respond to reseller questions regarding company's UAP Policy and Procedures.Apply the UAP Policy fairly and consistently across all resellers to avoid creating the perception that the policy is not being uniformly enforced. Continuously review and improve monitoring processes and leverage monitoring and enforcement tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications

Key Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree (emphasis in business/marketing or related field)2+ years of experience working with a leading consumer goods company (Channel Marketing, Trade Marketing, Category Management, Shopper Insights, or related position)Experience in channel and category management for a major national retailer, hardware or Mass channel preferred.Ability to build strong sustainable working relationships with the customer, and cross functionally within Sales and MarketingStrategic thinking, self-starter with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with aggressive deadlines.Advanced analytical skills and computer software proficiency (PowerBi, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.)Prior experience analyzing retailer data and presenting key findings and recommendations to senior level executives.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong project management, follow-up, organizational, communication and presentation skillsAbility to travel up to 10%
