We are seeking a dedicated and forward-thinking Motion Designer to focus on advancing motion and AI tools within Adobe Express. As a motion designer, you will be at the forefront of innovation, collaborating with cross-functional teams, crafting the future of our products through innovative prototyping and iterative design. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of design, technology, and artificial intelligence, driving the development of brand-new tools for creative expression.What you'll do

Innovative Prototyping:

Take charge of prototyping new features and improvements in Adobe Express, with a special emphasis on improving motion design capabilities and incorporating AI-powered tools.

Conceptualization and Ideation:

Collaborate with visual & motion design leads, product managers, UX designers, engineers, and AI specialists to brainstorm and develop innovative solutions. Push the boundaries of motion and what our users might build next!

Prototyping Skills:

Apply a range of prototyping tools and techniques to build prototypes and detailed specifications that demonstrate the functionality, usability, and user flow of proposed features and improvements.

Iterative Design:

Work iteratively to refine prototypes based on user feedback, technical feasibility, and design considerations, ensuring alignment with product goals and user needs.

Collaboration Across Teams:

Work closely with engineers, researchers, and other collaborators to explore technical feasibility, address implementation challenges, and seamlessly integrate prototypes into product development.

Support in planning user testing sessions,

gathering feedback on prototypes, analyzing results, and improving usability, efficiency, and happiness of users.

Documentation and Communication:

Document prototype iterations, design decisions, and technical specifications to facilitate collaboration within the team. Present prototypes and design concepts to stakeholders, articulating design rationale and capturing feedback.

What you'll bring to the team

Design and Motion Graphics Expertise: Strong background in design, motion graphics, and user experience, with a deep understanding of design principles, animation techniques, and motion design trends.

Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in prototyping tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, or similar, as well as pro animation software like Adobe After Effects or Blender. Familiarity with AI technologies and their application to craft is a plus.

Creative Problem-Solving: Seek candidates with a passion for innovation, who can generate new ideas and improve motion design by integrating AI tools.

Collaborative Nature: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work creatively within cross-functional teams and translate complex ideas into tangible prototypes.

Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a growth mindset, embracing emerging technologies, and adapting to evolving project requirements.

Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing previous design prototyping work, with an emphasis on motion design, interactive experiences, and projects that demonstrate creativity and innovation.

Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in design, motion graphics, computer science, or a related field.

Previous experience in design prototyping, motion graphics, UI/UX design, or a related role is preferred.

Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud applications, particularly Adobe After Effects, is highly desirable.

Adobe Design creates tools that amplify the world's ability to create and communicate. We're a global team of designers, researchers, prototypers, content strategists, program managers, and more who work across Adobe's three product lines: Creative Cloud, Document Cloud, and Experience Cloud.Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $112,000 -- $214,100 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.
