You will lead airport projects managing the technical and administrative resources and activities required for successful compliance of our clients’ goals. AECOM is recognized as a leader in airport designs regionally and globally. You will join a team of dedicated aviation planners and engineers delivering iconic aviation projects.Primary Focus will Include:Lead the Project assignedServe as Airside and Landside SpecialistInteract with Program owner and other stakeholders to understand needs and requestsVerify compliance with FAA and International StandardsVerify compliance of scopeInteract with local and regional Management when requestedProvide support for estimation and development of Aviation related ProposalsHas full responsibility for managing all aspects of his project. Serves as liaison contact with the client to bring projects to completion on schedule, within budget and with client satisfactionDirects and manages the entire project, guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, and a primary liaison between AECOM and client interfaceOverall responsibility and management of project including but not limited to budgeting/schedule stage, procurement, through contract closeoutResponsible for the coordination of all project efforts, administrative and technical, to assure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projectsCoordinates work efforts and reviews work performed. Schedules and manages for integration of quality control during all phases of a project.Manages risks, scope changes, subconsultants, invoicing and financial reporting throughout the project life-cycleEstimates fees, determines scope of work, and prepares proposals and contracts on the projectsSupports and mentors junior project managersResponsible for the overall management administration to project and assists in establishing project specific objectives and policies.Oversees and ensures all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisorsResponsible for administering the project from budgeting/schedule stage through procurement and contract closeout. Position has significant profit/loss responsibility for assigned projectMinimum Qualifications:BA/BS plus ten years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or educationExperience with transportation aviation infrastructure projects with both NY and NJ airport clientsPreferred Qualifications:Successful track record of leadership on airport projectsPrevious experience leading projects and teams on complex projects15+ years of experience with aviation sector projectsAdditional Information:Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position. Relocation assistance is not available for this role. Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications.
