is seeking an experienced
CEI SENIOR INSPECTOR
to support multiple projects located within Coral Gables, FL.Communicate effectively in English (verbally and in writing).Perform highly complex technical assignments in field surveying and construction layout, marking, and checking engineering computations, inspecting construction work, and conducting field tests.Coordinate and manage lower-level inspectors.Perform work under the general supervision of the Project Administrator.Reliance on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.Set own project deadlines.Provide on-the-job training to new employees.Monitor conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and/or code requirements by performing inspection duties.Perform daily field inspections and maintain inspection records.Participate in punch lists, testing, and commissioning.Track quality assurance progress.Provide input to documentation for area and equipment turnovers.QualificationsHigh School Diploma/Equivalent plus 4 years or more of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.Valid U.S. Driver’s License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices. As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review.Due to the nature of the projects associated with this position, valid U.S. citizenship is required.CEI experience in roadway or bridge construction.Preferred Qualifications:CTQP Concrete Field Technician Level ICTQP Concrete Field Inspector Level II (Bridges)CTQP Pile Driving InspectionFDOT Intermediate MOTIMSA Traffic Signal Inspector Level INuclear Radiation SafetyFlorida Stormwater, Erosion, and Sedimentation Control Training and Certification Program for Inspectors and ContractorsAdditional InformationSponsorship and relocation are not available for this position.Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications.
