SIOP Manager (Sales Inventory Operations Planning)

is responsible for:

The Manager, SIOP is responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient planning of sales, inventory, and operations processes to meet the company’s business objectives. This role involves coordinating with various departments such as sales, production, procurement, and logistics to develop and maintain an optimal balance between demand and supply. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of supply chain management principles.

Oxnard, CA . This position is 100% onsite and will require up to 10% travel.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage small team of demand planning professionals.

Plan and establish goals and objectives for a team.

Lead the monthly SIOP process to align demand and supply plans.

Own the long-term demand and supply plans, facilitating cross-functional input, and driving operational performance improvements.

Facilitate SIOP meetings with key stakeholders to review forecasts, inventory levels, and production plans.

Engage with finance to align SIOP plans with financial goals and budgets.

Collaborate with the sales team to gather and analyze sales forecasts.

Utilize historical data and market trends to develop accurate demand forecasts.

Monitor forecast accuracy and adjust plans as needed.

Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of materials.

Identify and prioritize root causes of fill rate issues and excess inventory and drive corrective actions across cross-functional teams.

Identify opportunities for process improvements within the SIOP framework.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree in the areas of Finance, Business, Supply Chain, or Logistics preferred.

7+ years of supply chain planning, accounting, or related experience in a manufacturing environment.

High technical aptitude.

Able to work with cross-functional teams and external subject matter experts.

Passionate about building and owning innovative reports.

Great presentation and communication skills.

Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP supply chain management systems.

Excellent analytical and problem identification/solving skills.

Strong modeling, scenario building, and data visualization skills.

HOW TO STAND OUT

Master’s degree in Business Administration, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or related field.

Experience using Oracle.

Experience using Demantra.

Material Control and Planning related experiences.

Continuous Improvement projects in a manufacturing operations environment.

APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional or relevant supply chain certification.

The Pay scale of this role based in California, New York, or Connecticut is $100,872 - $171,504. Please note all pay ranges are broadly stated and any final offer is dependent on factors such as location, direct experience, market guidance, and internal equity, among other qualifying criteria.
