Manager, B2B Field and Events MarketingThe Sage Group’s client, a leader in energy solutions for a sustainable future, is looking for a contract B2B Event Marketing Manager.We are on a mission to change how we power the world by making it easier for customers to save energy and money and participate in cleaner energy at home as part of the largest residential virtual power plant in North America.We partner with industry-leading brands to better manage residential energy for users by prioritizing efficiency, savings, and comfort — and cleaner energy for everyone.We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Marketing Manager to champion the planning execution of our events and B2B field marketing efforts. This role will report to the VP of Marketing.What You Will Do:

Event Strategy and Execution:

Develop and oversee the company's events marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with overall brand messaging and sales objectives.Identify and manage participation in relevant conferences, trade shows, and industry events.In partnership with Sales, External Comms, and Product Marketing, build and execute a strategy for our hosted industry events (workshops, conferences, etc.).Oversee all aspects of event planning and logistics, including booth design, sponsorship procurement, event staffing, pre-show promotion, and on-site execution.Provide internal teams with planning and execution support for semi-annual company meetings.B2B Field Marketing:

Collaborate with Sales and Comms teams to identify specific industry and or regional engagement opportunities (webinars, etc.).Work with Product Marketing and the Content and Creative teams to build compelling marketing materials to support field marketing outreach.Relationship Building:

Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, venue partners, and other stakeholders necessary for seamless event execution.Actively engage with customers and prospects at events and field marketing engagements, fostering brand loyalty.Budget Management:

Create, manage, and adhere to event and field marketing budgets.Performance Analysis:

Develop and track metrics to measure the success of events and field marketing efforts.Use post-event analysis to glean insights to optimize future efforts.Prepare reports for senior management, showcasing the impact of field and events marketing initiatives.Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.3-5+ years of proven experience in B2B Tech field and events marketing.Demonstrated success in developing and executing event marketing strategies.Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.Experience in Energy or Energy Technology companies is a plus.Excellent relationship-building and communication abilities.Proficient in budgeting and project management.Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable with regular travel (up to 1-2x/month).Duration:

12+ month contract (possible contract to hire)Location:

Remote – (must be in PST or MST time zone)Compensation:

$60-70/hr.30-40 hours/week. Travel to events.
