Sales Manager

Position Summary:

Join our world-class, modern New England farmhouse food and beverage group, where we are redefining craft experiences. Trillium is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to lead and expand our wholesale business segment, locally, nationally, and internationally. This role encompasses a comprehensive range of responsibilities, from planning and analysis to distributor and account relationship management. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales within the Alcohol Beverage Industry, demonstrate exceptional relationship-building skills, and have a keen understanding of market dynamics.

This position is based in our Canton, MA location but will require frequent visits to local accounts and delivery of products within 100 miles of the primary warehouse. The Sales Manager will report directly to the VP of Sales & Marketing.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Distributor & Account ManagementOversee business performance, actively engage with national distributors and local accounts, and ensure consistent adherence to brand standards.Communicate and visit with current and prospective accounts weekly regarding product availability, manage expectations accordingly, and coordinate logistics of product pick up or delivery.Act as the primary liaison for our National and International distribution partners, working closely with distributor managers for optimal business management and execution.Create and send invoices for all deliveries and pickups, ensuring timely A/R.Manage inventory and work with Operations Specialist to adequately fulfill predicted demand in product by packaging type for local and national wholesale clients.Maintain a comprehensive planning schedule with national and international wholesale partners, including annual, quarterly, and monthly agendas.Collaborate with the Marketing Department to activate key accounts for special events (i.e.- tap takeovers, collaboration dinners, tastings, etc.).Planning & Analysis

Develop and execute sales plans and budgets to surpass approved net sales targets.Lead strategic planning within on- and off-premise market channels, focusing on long-term growth and sustainability.Regularly assess and modify plans based on market performance, product allocations, and inventory levels.Monitor competitive, consumer, and pricing trends to inform internal sales strategies.Conduct business review meetings with distributors and accounts to ensure alignment and effectiveness.Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.

5+ years of sales experience in the Beverage Alcohol IndustryDOT Certification required upon onboardingKnowledge, Skills & Abilities

Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with accounts, distributors, and team members.Ability to provide constructive feedback to business partners.In-depth knowledge of on- and off-premise business in Massachusetts and the three-tier distribution system across the US.Proven ability to build and sustain an effective, results-producing team.Adherence to strict timelines and responsiveness to business issues in a timely manner.Highly organized with the ability to multitask and balance multiple deadlines.Benefits

Pay Range:

$50,000 - $60,000 per year
