Company InformationNavigator Recruiting client is a locally owned 10-employee CPA firm in Lone Tree, CO, and is a tight-knit family-oriented friendly easy-going team with traditionally excellent tenure among employees. The firm is seeking a tax accountant to work full-time (40 - 50 hours/week; 5 days/week) during the Spring and Fall busy seasons and part-time (~16 hours/week; 2 days/week) during the non-busy seasons preparing tax returns for mostly Individuals (70% of the returns) and Businesses - S Corps, some Partnerships and C Corps (30% of the returns). This is primarily an in-office role not a remote role. The firm uses ProSeries (which is similar to Lacerte or ProConnect). The This role is primarily a tax return preparation role and will not involve a lot or any review work. The firm does also offer bookkeeping and payroll services to clients and has staff which handle those areas. Most clients are in a variety of industries and are small businesses with less than $10M in annual revenues. Communicating with clients and providing excellent customer service is key. RequirementsBS in Accounting or equivalentEA (Enrolled Agent), CPA or CPA candidate is helpful but not required3+ years' public accounting tax return experienceExcellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills and strong attention to detail.Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with ProSeries and QuickBooks are helpful but not required.
