Job Responsibilities:

Provides end-user support to students, staff and faculty for IT infrastructure, client devices and peripherals in support of the clinical, academic, research and service missions of Marshall Health and the Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine.Answers, triages and processes incoming support requests via phone or email.Participates in the provisioning, deployment and life-cycle decommissioning of PCs and other client devices of Marshall Health and the Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine.Collaborates with both internal and external users and support staff to identify and resolve issues in the IT environment.Implements IT policies and procedures within the IT environment.Participates with other support technicians in an out-of-hours on-call support rotation.Performs other duties as assigned or requested.

Education:

Associates degree in computer operation or related field or equivalent years of undergraduate and relevant work experience. Bachelors degree desired.

Experience:

Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in an IT support role required.
