Weekly Pay Range - $1196 To $1329 Job Title: Sterile Processing Technologist Job Specialty: Nursing - Sterile Processing Technologist Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift, Monday through Friday Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Not specified Certifications: - Central Service Processing Technician Certification or Certified Operating Room Technician - CPR Certification Must-Have: - Experience with Cerner EMR Job Description: - Ensure the operating suite is adequately prepared for procedures. - Monitor PAR level of all surgical instruments and supplies. - Clean and sterilize all surgical instruments. - Participate in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities. - Knowledge of sterilization supplies, equipment, and instruments. - Experience organizing, containing, and transporting items of varying compounds, textures, or quantities. - Understand transportation and disposal procedures of hazardous materials and sharp objects according to hospital protocols. - Wrap and repackage sterilized instruments effectively. - Proficient with basic computer usage. - Skill in using sterilization equipment and instruments. - Ability in arranging instruments on surgical trays. - Follow written instructions and perform multiple tasks efficiently. - Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with colleagues. *Note: Holiday coverage is not required.*
