About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Mass General Brigham. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective management of specialty medications for our patients.Key Responsibilities
Work closely with patients, physicians, and pharmacists to coordinate medication therapy and ensure timely delivery of medications.Assist with benefits coordination and financial assistance to ensure patients receive their medications when needed.Monitor patient concerns, charts, and profiles to meet their medication therapy needs.Provide education and support to patients and families on medication management and adherence.Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.Requirements
2+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a hospital or clinical setting.Microsoft Office experience required.HS Diploma/GED required.Licensed as a pharmacy technician in the state of MA.Nationally Certified (CPht).Preferred Qualifications
Experience with prior authorizations, patient scheduling, and medication renewals.Experience working with patients receiving specialty medications.Experience with EPIC or similar medical record software.About Mass General Brigham
