Our client is seeking an ambitious Account Manager to join their team, focusing on managing their business with Ford Motor Co. You will work closely with the Sales Director and oversee all aspects of account management, including maintaining current business and supporting new program development. This position offers high visibility to senior leadership and is ideal for someone looking to excel in automotive sales.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning: Support the development and execution of sales plans aligned with corporate goals.Customer Relations: Manage and enhance relationships with key Ford clients, ensuring their needs are met.Sales Development: Drive new business opportunities and negotiate deals with customers.Reporting: Prepare sales reports and track profitability for all programs.Market Analysis: Review and respond to market trends and competitor activities.Commercial Issues: Handle all commercial and customer issues, including engineering changes and cost negotiations.Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with internal teams and systems like Covisint and Ford WERS.Invoice Collection: Manage open accounts and recover past-due invoices.Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's in engineering, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.Experience: Minimum 5 years in quality, program management, or sales, with experience managing Ford accounts preferred.Skills: Familiarity with automotive sales, customer processes, and strong negotiation skills.Work Environment

Hours: Full-time with frequent overtime.Visibility: Regular interactions with the Sales Director, VP of America, and CEO.
