SALARY RANGE: $24.00- $38.00

THIS IS A TEMPORARY POSITION

ALL FULL TIME POSITIONS: In addition to your pay, your salary also includes Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance. The Biweekly deduction from employee paycheck is $40.00 for Employee Only, $95.00 Employee plus Children, $120.00 Employee plus Spouse, and $140.00 Employee plus family.

CPN Health Services personnel may be assigned to provide services to patients of all ages including, but not limited to, Indian Children, and will require a criminal history background screening.

JOB SUMMARY: Legacy data conversion analysts are the primary owner for the conversions they are assigned. In some organizations, the process of legacy data conversion might also be referred to as "legacy data migration." Legacy data conversion analysts are responsible for setup and configuration of the Epic conversion interfaces within the Bridges application. They are also responsible for coordinating dependencies with appropriate teams, such as prerequisites in content mapping and related activities for application team-owned utilities and Epic import tools. Finally, legacy data conversion analysts are responsible for loading, testing, and organizing validation of external data within Epic. They work closely with the interface team, application teams, data extraction and formatting developers, and other technical teams to ensure that conversions meet the expectations of your end users.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Managing the entire cycle of one or more data types for legacy data conversion, including analysis, data element mapping, testing and validation, error resolution, and production loads.Working closely with application teams, subject matter experts, and third-party application experts to determine business needs, document requirements, and configure conversion interfaces per the requirements. Partnering with these groups to diagnose and resolve conversion-related issues and validating usability with end users.Identifying and escalating risks associated with technical project tasks and legacy data source systems.Coordinating application build requirements f01' conversion.Communicating with applications, third-party vendors, legacy system technical resources, and operations stakeholders.Defining and completing setup for the transport method by which extracted source system data will be communicated to Epic, including troubleshooting data transport mechanisms.Understanding Epic data structures and documenting technical specifications detailing target data elements.Interpreting scope and business requirements for each dataset.Analyzing and manipulating large volumes of external data into an appropriate format for filing into EpicKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Strong analytical, technical, and troubleshooting skillsAbility to analyze data, problem-solve, and clearly communicate solutionsAbility to understand business requirements and their impact on technical solutionsAbility to work in a complex environment to manage multiple concurrent communication needsSkill at tracking tasks, defining next steps, identifying owners, and holding others accountableAbility to coordinate activities and facilitate meetings involving multiple stakeholders, including vendors, subject matter experts, data extraction and formatting developers, and end users to design, configure, and test legacy data conversionsAbility to navigate HL7, CDA, and flat file-formatted dataStrong communication and organizational skillsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION:Experience in a clinic setting preferred.2-5 years of experience working in a clinical environment.Comfortable working in an IT environment.TRAINING AND CERTIFICATION:

Application coordinators gain in-depth knowledge of the software by attending training at Epic and completing application certification projects and tests.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time.Some lifting, bending, stretching, and kneeling may be required.The ability to work in a fast paced environment.ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:

Normal health facility office environment but not limited to office only. Often required to perform duties within confined spaces.
