The BIOS Data Conversion Coordinator plays a key role in the Business Integrated Operating System (BIOS) program assisting in the seamless transformation of data. This role is responsible for coordinating data conversion plans, troubleshooting issues, and communicating with both technical and business stakeholders. This role requires understanding the intricacies of data conversion while ensuring data quality, integrity, and security. The Coordinator aligns conversion activities with business objectives, liaises closely with technical counterparts, and creates harmony between technical solutions and business needs. Key aspects of the role include establishing quality control measures, identifying potential risks, and swiftly resolving issues while adhering to ED&I initiatives. Staying current, anticipating technical issues, and crafting data conversion strategies are vital to successfully transitioning data into the new system. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS: Coordinate data conversion activities throughout the BIOS program, ensuring alignment with overall project goals and timelines Work closely with DT counterparts to ensure technical execution aligns with business needs and objectives Monitor and report on data quality, addressing any concerns promptly to maintain stringent data standards Coordinate with the BIOS Migration Lead for creating and implementing mock conversions to vet the effectiveness of the data conversion procedures Ensure that all data conversion activities comply with ED&I standards Help develop a comprehensive data conversion strategy to ensure seamless integration of data into the new system. FORMAL EDUCATION: Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or in lieu of related degree, at least 6 years of experience in data conversion. Preferred: Related certifications (e.g., CDMP, CIMP, etc.) preferred KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE: Required: 8 years of experience in data conversions, particularly with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP applications Strong understanding of data conversion concepts, as well as data mapping and data quality Experience coordinating large-scale data conversion projects in complex environments Familiarity with Data Governance Frameworks and Data Modeling Techniques Experience in coordinating with IT teams and stakeholders.
