The ideal candidate will possess excellent research and writing skills and must be admitted to practice law in the State of California. This role involves handling a variety of labor and employment matters, providing strategic legal counsel, and representing clients throughout the litigation process.Duties:Represent clients in labor and employment cases, including class actions, representative actions, and individual plaintiff matters.Offer general employment advice and counsel on issues related to employment law, including compliance and risk management.Oversee all phases of discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests, and managing document review.Draft and prepare legal motions, briefs, and other pertinent legal documents.Conduct and defend depositions, including preparing witnesses and managing challenging depositions.Participate in evidentiary hearings, status conferences, and trial preparation.Argue dispositive motions and other critical motions in court to support client objectives.Develop and implement case strategies, providing comprehensive legal guidance throughout the litigation process.Requirements:3-5 years of general litigation experience and/or specific labor and employment law experience.Experience in managing class actions, representative actions, single plaintiff cases, and providing employment law advice and counsel.Demonstrated ability in handling discovery, drafting legal motions and briefs, and conducting/defending depositions.Experience in participating in evidentiary hearings, status conferences, arguing dispositive motions, and trial preparation.Admission to practice law in the State of California.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to practice law in the State of California.Skills:Exceptional research and writing skills, with the ability to analyze complex legal issues and draft comprehensive legal documents.Proficiency in managing discovery processes, drafting motions and briefs, and conducting/defending depositions.Skilled in participating in evidentiary hearings, status conferences, and trial-related activities.Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience arguing motions and representing clients in court.Detail-oriented with a strategic approach to case management and client service.Company infoBCG Attorney Search1750 Montgomery St Fl 1San FranciscoCaliforniaUnited States 94111Phone :
