If you are interested in applying for this job, please make sure you meet the following requirements as listed below.Employment Type: Permanent - Full TimeLocation: New YorkCompensation: $100,000 - $120,000 / yearDescriptionTo fuel our 2024 growth plans, we are looking for experienced, talented sales professionals to join our New York sales team.As Sales Director, you will play a pivotal role in GDS, acquiring new clients and expanding our existing accounts.At GDS we pride ourselves on rewarding our sales team, so you will receive a monthly, uncapped commission scheme so your success is recognized and rewarded, with OTE earnings in your first year expected to be c. $200,000Key ResponsibilitiesResearch and generate leads across technical marketsProvide strong domain and vertical expertise to help develop solutions that promote long-term engagement with GDS GroupOwn the full sales cycle process to ensure delivery against key performance metricsWorking with new and emerging technology providers worldwideArticulate our value proposition to ensure the business impact of the solution is understood by our prospect/client

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise5+ years of B2B sales experienceProven ability to ask probing questions to understand the clients business and technology issues and consult on solutions that align to their requirementsPassionate for new business sales/prospectingAbility to work under pressure, organize and priorities responsibilitiesExperience in cold outreach, LinkedIn and new business prospectingGood organisation and timekeepingAbility to prospect and manage C-level and senior level relationships.Articulate communicator with strong phone-based presentation skillsExperience of managing a team within a sales environment
