This role requires driving sales opportunities for the organization through a variety of direct marketing and sales techniques, including but not limited to cold calling into assigned Enterprise prospect companies to gather information and qualify leads, perform detailed market research/analysis, conduct sales presentations, manage a sales pipeline (Salesforce.com), and actively manage existing Enterprise clients. This role will be remote within the United States.Essential Functions

Direct business to business sales activities, with responsibility for the entire sales cycle, including:Prospect research, lead qualification, customer presentation, closing opportunities, and ongoing client managementDevelopment of long-term relationships with customers based on exceptional customer service, quality, and responsivenessPerform daily CRM updates on lead statuses, management of new opportunities, and updated information on existing customersIdentify opportunities for new business within targeted Enterprise prospects of the companyCold calling senior executives and key decision makers within targeted prospectsConduct sales calls with senior executives and decision makers at targeted prospectsAccount management and sales administration duties for existing customers as requiredReport progress on collection of market research and prospect informationRecord, monitor, and report sales activity using Salesforce.comTravel up to 50%Other duties as assignedSkills / Qualifications (Competencies)

Familiarity with common optical transport, routing, and switching platformsKnowledge of optical transceiversProven success with strategic relationships with Tier 1 Telcos and MSOsBachelor's degree in Business Administration or relevant field3 or more years of related work experienceA demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex business requirementsHands-on experience with Salesforce CRM solution and MS suite of productsThe specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.Precision Optical Transceivers is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
