NK Textile, a family-owned textile business specializing in novelty fabric and headquartered in New York, seeks an experienced Sales Director. The Sales Director will manage and oversee all aspects of the NK sales operation. This senior-level position is responsible for designing and implementing revenue growth strategies, launching new line styles, and managing an effective sales team while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Achieve growth, own and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales teamManage the entire sales process from initial calls, and face-to-faces up to presenting and negotiating sales contractDesign and implement a sales strategy that expands companys customer base and ensure its strong presenceOwn recruiting, goals, coaching and performance monitoring of sales teamBuild and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their needsCreate and manage reporting metrics to measure sales performance with emphasis on meeting targeted monthly goalsPresent monthly and quarterly sales revenue forecasts to the senior management teamReview monthly/quarterly sales results and forecasts with senior management teamIdentify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status to grow revenue streams while maintaining revenue baseShare best practices with other sales team members and work together to achieve company sales targetsRequirements

BS/MS degree in business administration or a related fieldMinimum 5 years experience as a Sales Director or Sales ManagerProven track record consistently exceeding sales targetsCommitted to continuous education through workshops, seminars, and conferencesDemonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organizationProven ability to drive the sales process from plan to closeKnowledge of supply chain and understanding the use of metrics/targets to achieve continuous improvementsStrong business sense and industry expertiseExcellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
