For our Client, a worldwide producer of chemicals, silicones and additives, we are looking for a strategic, collaborative, and experienced leader to help drive growth in America by closing key accounts and lead the sales & customer service team existing currently of 8 employees. In this role, you will be responsible for driving growth and shape the future that will have a significant impact on our business, with the US as one of our strategic growth markets, and the silicones industry at large. You will also act as General Manager for US legal entity.Make your application after reading the following skill and qualification requirements for this position.Responsibilities:direct and lead the sales & customer service aiming to support regional business objectives and participating in the planning process for the organization,lead the development and implement in the region for the sales and customer service strategy for the silicones division based on the regional market needs and insure alignment with global strategy,achieve and maintain specific sales goals to include volumes, pricing, and revenues for assigned customers and market area,work aggressively to identify and secure new business and product opportunities consistent with the business strategy,develop and strengthen customer accounts and relationships in selected markets as assigned,develop and implement a relationship management plan for strategic, complex potential accounts to build key relationships at local and national levels,develop and/or deliver budget plans,manage the performance of the team; set appropriate performance objectives for direct reports or project/account team members and hold them accountable for achieving these; take appropriate corrective action where necessary to ensure the achievement of team / personal objectives,actively coach, develop, and provide guidance to managers and team members.Requirements:bachelors degree in a business or technical-related field,10+ years of related experience is required, including experience managing people,willingness to travel approximately 60% of time,prior experience in chemical industry/silicone applications will be an asset,interpersonal and relationship-building skills are needed to be effective in this position,critical skills, knowledge, and abilities include: building effective teams, problem-solving, making good decisions, customer-oriented, negotiating, and strategic thinking,effective communication skills, written and verbal in both face to face and virtual environments,team player with tact and diplomacy,excellent planning and organizational skills, setting objectives and determining appropriate course of action.The offer:a good salary matching your knowledge and skills,a full time employment type,20 days of leave,pension scheme (401k),health insurance,a car allowance,possibility to work remote.
