Job DescriptionWe are looking for a motivated

Business Development Intern

to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in our growth strategy by prequalifying leads for our Business Development Representatives (BDRs). You will be responsible for conducting initial outreach to potential clients, gathering relevant information, and ensuring that the leads meet our criteria before being handed over to the BDRs.This role is a gateway role to a great future inside the AxisCare sales and account management family. It will provide you with a great foundational understanding of the value propositions of AxisCare’ products and will prepare you for future sales roles.You’ll be a great fit for this role if you’re a proactive, self-motivated individual who loves diving into research and finding new opportunities. You will need to be adaptable, eager to learn, and excited to grow in a dynamic environment. You will be a person who is comfortable with technology, enjoys collaborating with a team, and brings a positive, can-do attitude to everything you do.

Duties and Responsibilities

Conduct initial outreach and discovery with potential prospects.Prequalify leads by assessing their suitability and alignment with our target market and criteria.Maintain and update lead information, ensuring accuracy and completeness.Collaborate with Business Development Intern Manager to understand priorities and refine lead qualification criteria.Assist in developing and executing lead generation strategies to support overall business growth.Provide regular feedback and insights to the Business Development Intern Manager on lead quality and market trends.Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and strategy discussions.

Required Experience/Skills

Strong interest in business development, sales, and market research.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented with a strong work ethic.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Enthusiastic, eager to learn, and results-driven.Nice-to-Haves

Familiarity with CRM tools and lead management systems is a plus.Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.Pay & Benefits Summary
