Director, Sales Enablement, Therapeutics

to join our

Therapeutics Team

in Nashville. The Director of Sales Enablement, Therapeutics will work collaboratively with the Therapeutics Leadership team members to develop, maintain, and implement training programs and ongoing education to the sales and field teams in the highly competitive therapeutic injectable market. The Director will contribute to sales success by proactively collaborating with multiple Commercial Teams (Marketing, Human Resources, Medical Affairs, Sales Operations, Legal, Customer Service) to support new hire onboarding, enhance product and practice integration knowledge, contribute to key marketing initiatives, improve overall selling skills, build corporate culture, and support the ongoing development needs of the sales team. The Director will be able to adapt, implement and execute curricula and training content through multiple channels to develop clinical competence, technical knowledge, and practice operations expertise.Why Our Colleagues Love Revance

Experience and success building sales enablement programs with a focus on consultative selling methodologies and value messaging for various physician and practice staff personas and administrative influencers/buying committees.Lead enablement for the sales and field team and is responsible for strategy, content design, development, and implementation including didactic and scenario-based learning tools.Develop metrics to assess effectiveness of educational programs and quickly implement changes to educational programs as needed.Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in the therapeutics space to effectively develop training that equips the sales team with appropriate product differentiation, competitive battle cards, and clinical and business acumen needed to gain market share effectively.Partner with marketing/market access teams and outside agencies to create a sales training curriculum that is innovative, progressive, and provides a platform for ongoing training, certification, and growth.Facilitation, coaching, and influencing skills are critical. This role requires leadership within the classroom, within cross functional teams and during field interactions.Identify anticipated knowledge gaps for the sales team and aid in developing creative solutions and testing of skillsets by working independently and through collaboration with appropriate teams.Align sales enablement strategies to business objectives and collaborate with sales operations to track sales effectiveness/quality through collaboration and analysis of individual and/or team sales outcomes.Strong commercial acumen and ability to develop role-based enablement modules for various levels of sales and field team members.Assist in the facilitation of corporately run training classes and sales meetings.Stay up to date on industry and customer trends to gain insights to enhance or further shape learning initiatives.Partner with front-line sales leaders to understand the ongoing needs of their teams and receive input on what is taking place in the marketplace.Continuously assess training and development needs of the salesforce and coordinate training resources to address these needs to ensure the long-term development of the therapeutics sales team.Facilitate training for the sales team both in person and virtually and have the ability to develop courses specific to selling in virtual or hybrid environments.Work in the field with sales representatives to gain insight to make ongoing improvements to the sales training curriculum.Ability to travel up to 50% required to achieve the objectives of the position.What qualifications you need to be successful in this role:Required

10+ years relevant industry experience, preferably in pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry.Experience in developing sales training strategies, curriculum, and managing sales meeting execution.Experience in training, field management experience in pharmaceutical industry a plus.Experience with sales tools such as Outreach.io, Allego, SFDC, or similar tools.Experience with physician administered therapeutics.Demonstrated clinical/technical knowledge capability.Excellent understanding of practice integration requirements associated with therapeutic buy and bill technologies.Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly visible and dynamic environment is critical.Demonstrated leadership experience in leading sales teams or field management/training.Excellent coaching and facilitation skills as well as leadership presence.Develops and nourishes relationships with field sales to provide sales training and marketing initiatives with a clear understanding of field needs to support product positioning, address competitive promotional efforts, and to assess the success of the various communication tools.Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, set priorities, meet deadlines and develop workflow processes for multiple projects.Ability to work effectively and collaboratively, demonstrating excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Preferred

Prior experience in sales enablement, solution marketing, field marketing, and/or sales management in healthcare or life sciences/biopharmaceutical environment.Leadership experience; ideally management experience.Experience in coaching, mentoring, and/or managing field sales professionals.Prior certification as trainer for programs to build salesforce skills and culture such as Challenger Sale, Insights, Myers Briggs, Spin Selling, and PSS.Education

Bachelors degree in business, Marketing, Communications, Science, or similar.Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred.We Invest In You
