Position Summary:
The Data Analyst will be responsible for retrieving, organizing, and analyzing data for analytical products. The Data Analyst will develop analytical products based on defined business and technical requirements. This includes the design and development of data marts, dashboards, metrics, alerts, and reports. This position will provide support to the Analytics Department with regards to the conception, design, development, test, and deployment of analytical products. The Data Analyst must be able to successfully tailor chosen methodology to match the needs of the business and/or relevant stakeholders.
Essential Functions:
Gather and interpret data using statistical techniques.Analyze health data from disparate data sources (HIE, PDMP, SDoH, and other sources procured by the organization).Develop and implement data analyses, data collection systems, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency.Acquire data from primary and secondary sources.Maintain databases in collaboration with data architect team.Validate data sets for completeness, and build automated SQL scripts to assess completeness, validity, and other data metrics for the data warehouse.Maximize efficiency and productivity through process analysis and interdepartmental collaboration.Map the data elements to their corresponding health data standards.Build strong interdepartmental relationships to ensure thorough alignment across all departments for optimal business results. Work closely with the business units to gain in-depth understanding of business strategy, processes, services, and the context in which the business operates.Perform statistical analysis for leadership and aid in the decision-making process.Support business analysts in the translation of business requirements as well as metrics and reporting needs into technical requirements for the build of data marts in collaboration with the data architect team.Develop use case scenarios and testing requirements to ensure validity of data.Conduct source to target data mapping exercises for data sources.Develop analytical tools and data reports that measure performance and monitor (internal and external) organizational progress against health outcome measures.Develop ad-hoc reports to conduct data analysis and validation.Protect assets and the integrity, security and privacy of information entrusted to or maintained by the organization.Model CyncHealth's values and Code of Conduct.Other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business analytics, data science, or related field required.2+ years of experience working in data analytics with responsibilities in data mining, data visualization, data analysis, and developing business reports required.1+ years of experience working in a health data role in managed care, population health, or health insurance preferred.Ability to rapidly iterate and produce impactful visualizations from different forms of health and healthcare related data.Advanced analytical and visualization skills.Advanced interpersonal/verbal communication skills.Intermediate experience with Agile methodologies and principles. Preferred experience with Agile/Scrum.Advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills.Advanced experience with reporting packages, databases (SQL), and programming (SQL/R/Python).Self-starter, with a strong work-ethic and attention to detail.Technology

Ability to work on a computer for extended periods of time.Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time.Hours are generally Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM. As operational deliverable deadlines emerge there will likely be extended working hours.Light work requiring exertion up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.Ability to work from La Vista, NE office with reliable and predictable attendance.Benefits:
