Digital Communications Lead - Full Time 37.5 hours per week

. This is an opportunity to work closely with the Trust’s Communications Team, producing a range of internal and external communications.The role will support the organisation in identifying and deploying key digital tools to create efficiencies and assist patients in better managing their care and combating digital deprivation.Main duties of the job

Key ResponsibilitiesAct as a digital champion, ensuring that any new and developing tools are considered and where appropriate incorporated into the organisation.Lead on online/digital communications, providing content for the website, social media, and newsletters.Coordinate the use of consistent branding across all aspects of the organisation.Coordinate, develop and maintain information displayed on the waiting room TV screens.Coordinate and facilitate the production, writing and editing of communications materials, including but not limited to promotional materials, synchronising with relevant national campaigns.Support the Divisional Director and Managing Director in the development of an overarching digital strategy.Develop positive working relationships with media linked to the central communications team, including responding to media enquiries and ensuring they are escalated accordingly and dealt with appropriately.Coordinate and facilitate working with partner organisations to publicise projects and innovations, including developing and delivering relevant stakeholder briefings.Work alongside the Communications Team based at the Trust.Any other duties commensurate with the role.Working for our organisation

Qualifications & Training

Educated to degree level (or equivalent).Experience

Experience of working within a communications/public relations/journalism environment.Experience in the use of photography and videography.Experience of post-processing and video editing.Experience of working on content management of websites/intranet.Experience organising events.Previous experience of working in the NHS.Experience of implementing a digital system project.Skills & Knowledge

Ability to communicate at all levels within an organisation.Ability to produce work with a high degree of accuracy within given deadlines.Excellent Microsoft Office and IT skills.Excellent proofreading skills.Competent across all social media platforms.Graphic design.Understands how the media works.Knowledge of GP/PCN contacts and the DES specifications in relation to all digital aspects.Good knowledge of digital health applications methodology and adoption.Personal Attributes
